Vintage Royal Doulton Blue Sheerlite Ceramic Table Lamp 1960s English British
Couldn't load pickup availability
Small 1960s/70s English ceramic table lamp - listing is for one lamp but we have 2 available.
Has a mottled, mid blue glaze which is one of the rarer colours these lamps were made in.
The beautiful gloss glaze has shimmering yellow highlights.
The attractive hooped design is part of Doulton's much-loved 'Sheerlite' range of surprisingly weighty ceramic table lamps.
Its small size would make it ideal as a bedside table lamp.
Made by Royal Doulton, England, in the 1960s/70s.
Has maker's mark on its base.
Fully refurbished with high quality, European-made fittings.
Approximately 21cm high, including the lamp holder, and 9cm wide.
Excellent fully working vintage condition with no chips and only very minor signs of age.

Rewired with approximately 1.7m of vintage style Italian braided fabric cable in aged brass.
Has an English-made brass lampholder. Note that the lampholder has a 'safer switch' meaning it will only function when a lightbulb is inserted.
It takes a B22 lightbulb, maximum 60w (not included).
If you would like more details about choosing a lightbulb you can find them here: Which Lightbulb Should I Choose? Part 1 – Scandiwegians
Fitted with a new white UK plug.

Note that we have attempted to show and state the condition as accurately as possible but this is a pre-loved, vintage item and some minor signs of age and/or use are to be expected.
There may also be slight variations in the colours shown due to lighting, the camera lens and the device the image is viewed through.
Handmade items may have slight imperfections, such as air bubbles in glass and glazing imperfections in ceramics, which add to their uniqueness and charm.
