Vintage Hornsea Pottery 1970s Ceramic Trinket Dish

Attractive 1970s British Design in the rarer cream coloured base (brown was more common).

Round ceramic dish wish a wonderfully smooth, unfinished biscuit finish.

Features a glossy glazed inner pattern in pink, rust brown and black.

Can be used as a trinket dish (for keys, jewellery etc), as bathroom storage, as a soap dish, a candle holder or as a serving dish for olives, tapas etc.

These dishes are beautiful pieces, wonderful to both look at and to hold. If the design catches your eye, you will not be disappointed when you have the real thing!

The 'Muramic' range was designed by Hornsea's chief designer, John Clappison.

Made in East Yorkshire, England in the 1970s.

12cm wide (the medium size these dishes were made in).

Excellent vintage condition with only minor signs of age.
