Holmegaard Royal Copenhagen White Glass Table Lamp

Vintage Danish lamp in a rare design which is compact yet very elegant.

Small lamp in traditional Nordic white glass, known as ‘opal’, with brushed steel detailing.

Stylish ‘Carine’ lamp designed by Sidse Werner in 1982 for Holmegaard in collaboration with Royal Copenhagen.

Handmade by Holmegaard on the Danish Island of Fyn between 1982 & 1985.

19cm high including the lamp holder and 11cm wide.

Excellent fully working vintage condition. Retains its original manufacturer’s stickers.

Sidse Werner was a Danish architect and industrial designer, probably best known for her 1971 Coat Tree design for Fritz Hansen. She died in 1989.

It is in full working condition.

We will fit a new UK plug.

It will need a new lampholder unless you intend to use a clip on the bulb lampshade, which is what the original lampholder was designed to take.

We can rewire the lamp with your choice of cable from the following: white round plastic or black, navy blue or brown braided fabric.
