Vintage Norwegian Haugrud Pewter Candle Holder 1950s

Striking mid century brutalist design

Made of pewter, a tin alloy which Norway has specialised in for centuries.

Made for dinner candles measuring approximately 2.2cm (3/4 inch) wide.

Has manufacturer's details and country of origin imprinted on its base.

Made by Haugrud Norway, probably in the 1950s.

Approximately 9cm high and 10cm wide at the top.

Good vintage condition with signs of age and use as shown in the photos.

The last photo shows it with other items, available for separate purchase.

The candles in the photo are by Ester & Erik who hand-make beautiful traditional candles in my home region in Denmark.
