AJMO Pottery Danish Ceramic Table Lamp

Medium sized handmade 1970s/80s Danish ceramic lamp.

Has a matt mottled rustic stoneware base in earthy beige.

Features slightly iridescent warm reddish brown highlights.

Designed by Anne Grethe and Jorgen Moseholm at their AJMO Ceramics studio.

Handmade in Ebeltoft, Denmark in the 1970s/80s.

Has its artists’ signatures imprinted on its base.

It is 25cm high including the lamp holder and 14cm wide at its widest point.

Very good full working vintage condition with only very minor signs of age.

Because it hasn’t been rewired yet, you have the opportunity to choose the colour of vintage style braided cable you would like it to be rewired with from a choice of black, dark brown, dark blue, light blue, burnt orange and old gold.

It will be rewired with vintage style Italian braided fabric cable, with a new switch, retaining the original lamp holder if practicable.

We can fit a British/Irish, European*, Aus/NZ plug or American** plug.

It takes a E27 lightbulb, maximum 60w (not included). In the photos is a vintage style LED Filament G95 ‘Radio Spiral’ lightbulb (not included).

** If used in the USA/100/110/120v we recommend using an energy saving/LED bulb. E26 bulbs should work but because they are 1mm smaller they should be fully turned to ensure they make contact with the fitting. This lamp will take a European type/size lampshade with a ring of 1.5 inches (3.6cm) or alternatively a lampshade that sits on the light bulb. Full details of lampshades can be found under FAQs.
