Staffordshire Potteries TeaCup & Cake Plate

The combination of a cup and saucer with a small side plate for cake or a small sandwich is known as a ‘Trio’.

Vibrant Mid Century brown floral design teacup with deep olive /khaki green saucer and side plate.

The cup is 7.5cm high and 8cm wide.

The saucer is 14cm wide and the plate is 17cm wide.

Made of stoneware by Staffordshire Potteries.

Made in Staffordshire, England in the 1960s/70.

Very good vintage condition with no chips and only minor signs of age such as crazing. It may also have small manufacturing flaws.

Staffordshire Potteries were mass producers of colourful and fashionable budget stoneware. If often had minor manufacturing imperfections such as small areas of loss of finish to the stoneware and pattern.
