Soholm Pottery Danish Blue Ceramic Table Lamp

Medium sized table lamp, handmade in Denmark in the 1960s/70s.

Features a satin mottled grey glaze with a textured relief design on the widest part.

Designed by Einar Johansen and in one of his signature patterns.

Handmade in Denmark by Soholm on the Baltic island of Bornholm in the 1960s/70s.

Has its model number etched on its base.

25cm high including the lamp holder and 13cm wide at its widest point.

Excellent vintage condition with only minor signs of age.

The price includes re-wiring with high quality, Italian-made fabric cable and a new plug, replacing old, worn fittings if required. You have the opportunity to choose the cable colour from a choice of black, dark brown, dark blue, light blue, burnt orange and old gold.

Will be rewired with vintage style braided fabric cable and a new switch, retaining the original Bakelite lamp holder if practicable.

We can fit a British/Irish, European, Aus/NZ or American* plug.

* If used in the USA/100/110/120v we recommend using an energy saving/LED bulb. E26 bulbs should work but because they are 1mm smaller they should be fully turned to ensure they make contact with the fitting. This lamp will take a European type/size lampshade with a ring of 1.5 inches (3.6cm) or alternatively a lampshade that sits on the light bulb.
