Medium sized ceramic table lamp, handmade in Denmark in the 1960s/70s

Features a glossy pecan brown and blue glaze with warm amber highlights. Has an unglazed biscuit neck.

Model number 3045, designed by Maria Philippi.

Handmade in Denmark by Soholm Stentoj (Pottery) on the Baltic island of Bornholm in the 1960s/70s.

Has manufacturer's details, designer’s initials, and model number etched on its base.

30cm high including the original Bakelite lampholder, and 10cm wide at its base.

Excellent vintage condition with only very minor signs of age.

Because it hasn’t been rewired yet, you have the opportunity to choose the colour of vintage style braided cable you would like it to be rewired with from a choice of black, dark brown, dark blue, light blue, burnt orange and old gold.

It will be rewired with vintage style braided fabric cable retaining its original Bakelite lamp holder, if practicable.

We can fit a British/Irish, European*, Aus/NZ plug or American** plug.

It takes a E27 lightbulb, maximum 60w (not included).

** If used in the USA/100/110/120v we recommend using an energy saving/LED bulb. E26 bulbs should work but because they are 1mm smaller they should be fully turned to ensure they make contact with the fitting. This lamp will take a European type/size lampshade with a ring of 1.5 inches (3.6cm) or alternatively a lampshade that sits on the light bulb. Full details of lampshades can be found under FAQs.
