Soholm Pottery White Danish Ceramic Table Lamp

Small vintage handmade lamp - we call this glaze 'cinnamon frosting'.

Fully glazed with a glossy ivory glaze with warm cinnamon brown highlights.

Features a geometric textured relief design on the square lower part.

Designed by Einar Johansen and handmade in Denmark by Soholm in the 1960s/70s.

Has manufacturer’s details and designer's mark etched on its base.

24cm high including the lamp holder and 10cm wide.

Very good vintage condition with only very minor signs of age.

As this lamp hasn’t been rewired yet, you have the opportunity to choose the colour of vintage style braided cable you would like it to be rewired with from a choice of black, white, dark brown, dark blue, light blue, burnt orange and old gold.

Will be rewired with high quality Italian vintage style braided fabric cable and a new switch. We will attempt to reuse the original lamp holder where practicable, but may replace it with a modern E27 fitting. If you buy two lamps we will ensure they have matching fittings.

We can fit a British/Irish, European, Aus/NZ or American* plug.

* If used in the USA/100/110/120v we recommend using an energy saving/LED bulb. E26 bulbs should work but because they are 1mm smaller they should be fully turned to ensure they make contact with the fitting. This lamp will take a European type/size lampshade with a ring of 1.5 inches (3.6cm) or alternatively a lampshade that sits on the light bulb.
