Soholm Pottery White Danish Ceramic Table Lamp

Large vintage Danish lamp with a pleasingly simple design..

Features a satin glaze in white and mid denim blue.

The blue lower part has a subtle design in a darker blue.

Designed by Maria Philippi for Soholm Pottery.

Handmade in Bornholm, Denmark, probably in the 1970s/80s.

Has manufacturer’s details on its base and retains its original sticker.

28cm high including the lamp holder and 15cm wide.

Very good vintage condition with only minor signs of age.

As this lamp hasn’t been rewired yet, you have the opportunity to choose the colour of vintage style braided cable you would like it to be rewired with from a choice of black, white, dark brown, dark blue, light blue, burnt orange and old gold.

Will be rewired with high quality Italian vintage style braided fabric cable and a new switch. We will attempt to reuse the original lamp holder where practicable, but may replace it with a modern E27 fitting. If you buy two lamps we will ensure they have matching fittings.

We can fit a British/Irish, European, Aus/NZ or American* plug.

* If used in the USA/100/110/120v we recommend using an energy saving/LED bulb. E26 bulbs should work but because they are 1mm smaller they should be fully turned to ensure they make contact with the fitting. This lamp will take a European type/size lampshade with a ring of 1.5 inches (3.6cm) or alternatively a lampshade that sits on the light bulb.
