Authentic Original British Rotaflex Plastic Fantastic Light in unusally good condition

This is the larger and rarer of the two sizes this model lamp came in.

Beautiful peach orange colour that produces an amazing glow when switched on.

Part of the iconic 'Christals' range designed by John and Sylvia Reid for British company Rotaflex in the late 1950s.

This plastic lamp is covered with small Lucite chips designed to capture the light and shimmer like glitter.

This lamp also produces a wonderful a shimmering glow when sunlight shines on it.

Made in the UK by Rotaflex in the 1950s/60s. Has its original metal fitting with 'Rotaflex' imprinted on it.

Approximately 30cm high and 35cm wide.

Excellent near mint vintage condition with only very minor signs of age - this lamp is in exceptionally good condition.

Has been rewired with approximately 1.8m of vintage style high quality white fabric cable.

Comes without a ceiling canopy/rose.

Takes a E14 light bulb, maximum 60w (not included).

*If used in the USA/100/110/120v we recommend using an energy saving/LED bulb. E14 lightbulbs compatible with North American voltage should be available online or you can buy a E14>E12 adapter enabling you to use North American standard E12 (chandelier) light bulbs.
