RARE Riihimaki Turquoise Green Glass Vase Tamara Aladin 1472 - Large Size

Vintage Riihimaki Finnish Turquoise Green Glass Vase - larger 28cm / 11” model

This is both a very rare colour and a very rare, large size for this model.

Hooped glass vase in a beautiful glistening bright turquoise blue-green.

This is a luscious, tactile vase with a real high quality feel about it.  It is our personal favourite Riihimaki vase and we are collectors of it.

Model number 1472.  Designed by Tamara Aladin. 

Handmade in Finland by Riihimaki in the period 1965-1975.

28cm tall.

A beautifully solid and weighty vase.

Excellent vintage condition with only minor signs of age except for the small ‘internal chip’ highlighted in the photo, which can be seen on close inspection but cannot be felt on the outside as it is smooth.

It is shown with other #1472 vases in the standard 20cm size which are available for separate purchase.
