RARE Riihimaki Turquoise Green Glass Vase Tamara Aladin 1472 - Large Size

Vintage Riihimaki Finnish Turquoise Green Glass Vase - larger 25cm / 10” model

This is both a very rare colour and a very rare, large size for this model.

Hooped glass vase in a very beautiful, glistening bright turquoise blue-green.

This is a luscious, tactile vase with a real high quality feel about it.  It is our personal favourite Riihimaki vase and we are collectors of it.

Model number 1472.  Designed by Tamara Aladin. 

Handmade in Finland by Riihimaki in the period 1965-1975.

25cm tall and 11cm wide. A beautifully solid and weighty vase.

Excellent vintage condition with only minor signs of age except for the tiny imperfection highlighted in the photo, which can only be seen on very close inspection and cannot be felt as the glass is smooth.

It is shown with other #1472 vases in the standard 20cm size, which are available for separate purchase.
