Soholm Pottery Danish Table Lamp 1960s/70s
Medium-sized vintage handmade ceramic Danish lamp.
This is a very rare and particularly beautifully glazed lamp.
It is the only lamp with this glaze we’ve ever seen.
Fully glazed in a very rare sea blue-green glaze that is matt in some areas and satin in others.
Has bronze and yellow highlights in the glaze.
Features a geometric textured relief design.
Designed by Einar Johansen for Soholm Stentoj (Pottery).
Handmade in Denmark on the Baltic island of Bornholm in the 1960s/70s.
Has its manufacturer’s details, designer's mark and model number etched on its base.
Approximately 27cm high including the original Bakelite lamp holder, 12cm wide and 10cm dep at the base.
Excellent fully working vintage condition. Has a few very minor manufacturing imperfections in the glaze as shown in the photos.

Will be rewired with your choice of vintage style braided fabric cable. You can keep the original vintage Danish Bakelite lampholder or change it for a new one - you can see the options here: https://scandiwegians.com/pages/a-note-on-lampshades
We can fit a British, European (Danish 2 pin), Aus/NZ plug or American** plug.
It currently takes a E27 lightbulb, maximum 60w (not included).
** If used in the USA/100/110/120v we recommend using an energy saving/LED bulb. E26 bulbs should work but because they are 1mm smaller they should be fully turned to ensure they make contact with the fitting. This lamp will take a European type/size lampshade with a ring of 1.5 inches (3.6cm) or alternatively a lampshade that sits on the light bulb. Full details of lampshades can be found under FAQs.

Note that we have attempted to show and state the condition as accurately as possible but this is a pre-loved, vintage item and some minor signs of age and/or use are to be expected. But unless otherwise stated there will be no chips or similar damage.
There may also be slight differences in colour depending on lighting and the device the product is viewed on.
