Michael Andersen Pottery Danish Ceramic Table Lamp.

Unusual medium-sized handmade table lamp.

Features a smooth satin glaze with a mottled rustic finish.

The lower part has a hand painted geometric design in olive green, light purple and bronze.

Handmade by Danish pottery studio Michael Andersen & Sons on the Baltic island of Bornholm, probably in the 1970s.

Has Michael Andersens’s mark and its model numbers on its base.

27cm high including the lamp holder and 10cm wide.

Excellent vintage condition with only minor signs of age.

As this lamp hasn’t been rewired yet, you have the opportunity to choose the colour of vintage style braided cable you would like it to be rewired with from a choice of black, dark brown, dark blue, light blue, burnt orange and old gold.

Will be rewired with high quality Italian vintage style braided fabric cable. We will attempt to reuse the original lamp holder where practicable, but may replace it with a modern E27 fitting. If you buy two lamps we will ensure they have matching fittings.

We can fit a British/Irish, European, Aus/NZ or American* plug.

* If used in the USA/100/110/120v we recommend using an energy saving/LED bulb. E26 bulbs should work but because they are 1mm smaller they should be fully turned to ensure they make contact with the fitting. This lamp will take a European type/size lampshade with a ring of 1.5 inches (3.6cm) or alternatively a lampshade that sits on the light bulb.
Note that we have attempted to show and state the condition as accurately as possible but this is a pre-loved, vintage item and some minor signs of age and/or use are to be expected.

There may also be slight variations in the colours shown due to lighting, the camera lens and the device the image is viewed through.

Handmade items may have slight imperfections, such as air bubbles in glass, which add to their uniqueness and charm.
