Vintage Soholm Pottery Danish Ceramic Table Lamp

Large oval-shaped fully glazed lamp, handmade in Denmark in the 1960s/70s.

Has a satin brown glaze with a leather like mottled texture.

Features a sunflower relief design to the front and back.

Model 1203, designed by Einar Johansen.

Handmade in Denmark by Soholm Stenjoj in the 1960s/70s.

Has model number and designer's mark etched on its base.

31cm high including the lamp holder and 12cm wide.

Excellent vintage condition with only very minor signs of age.

As this lamp hasn’t been rewired yet, you have the opportunity to choose the colour of vintage style braided cable you would like it to be rewired with from a choice of black, white, dark brown, dark blue, light blue, burnt orange and old gold.

Will be rewired with high quality Italian vintage style braided fabric cable. We will attempt to reuse the original lamp holder where practicable, but may replace it with a modern E27 fitting and new switch. If you buy two lamps we will ensure they have matching fittings.

We can fit a British/Irish, European, Aus/NZ or American* plug.

* If used in the USA/100/110/120v we recommend using an energy saving/LED bulb. E26 bulbs should work but because they are 1mm smaller they should be fully turned to ensure they make contact with the fitting. This lamp will take a European type/size lampshade with a ring of 1.5 inches (3.6cm) or alternatively a lampshade that sits on the light bulb.
