Carl Fagerlund Orrefors Swedish Glass Table Lamp

This large, elegantly-shaped lamp, is a beautiful and rare model - It is an extremely special piece.

Deep ruby red crystal glass cased with clear crystal glass.

Designed by renowned Swedish art glass designer Carl Fagerlund for Orrefors (1898-1990).

Fully rewired and refurbished with high quality, European-made fittings. 

Has 'Orrefors RD1566' etched into the polished steel top cap.

Made in Sweden in the 1950s/60s.

Approximately 36cm high, including the lampholder, and 12cm wide at its widest point.

Excellent vintage condition with no chips and only minor signs of age, just a few light scratches.

Completely rewired and refurbished with silverish white braided cable, a new silver coloured lamp holder that goes beautifully with the original metal finish.

Fitted with a new switch on the cable and a UK plug.

The new lampholder means it can take modern UK/European lampshades. We recommend Witty Dawn who handmakes lampshades from a vast selection of vintage fabrics.
