Louis Poulsen Ceiling Pendant Workshop Lamp - Large 40cm wide size.

This is an authentic, original glossy black Danish-made pendant.

A high quality Scandinavian design classic in the larger 40cm wide and 30cm high size.

Iconic Vaerksted (Workshop) design, originally made by Louis Poulsen in the 1950s-70s and has been made several Danish lighting companies since then.

The cool industrial styling of these lamps has been rediscovered by a new generation in Denmark and they are extremely popular in modern Danish homes.

This is a very high quality vintage Danish lamp, made of heavy enamelled steel.

Made in Denmark by Louis Poulsen in the 1960s/70s.

Very good full working vintage condition with signs of age as shown in the photos. It displays extremely well and the rich patina of authentically aged enamel actually adds to the look of this type of lamp.

This large, stylish pendant has a industrial look, having originally been designed as task lighting for workshops, and would work particularly well in a bar, restaurant etc.

Rewired with 2 metres of high quality vintage-look black fabric cable, retaining the original porcelain lamp holder.

Takes a E27 bulb, maximum 60w (not included).

Comes without a ceiling rose/canopy. If required, we can add a high quality metal black or white ceiling rose for a small addition cost.

If used in the USA/100/110/120v we recommend using an energy saving/LED bulb. E26 lightbulbs should work but because they are 1mm smaller and this has an old lamp holder you may need to wind the bulb fully to ensure in makes contact with the fitting.
