Vintage Danish Hooped Blue Pottery Vase

Features a smooth, glossy light blue drip glaze design that extends to the top part of the vase’s interior. The blue glaze has a hint of lavender colour.

The lower part has a glossy deep midnight blue-black glaze with a light rustic texture.

Fully glazed inside and out.

Medium sized vase in a cool mid century hooped shape.

Handmade by Johgus Pottery Studio on the Danish island of Bornholm.

Made in Denmark in the 1960s/70s/80s.

It is back stamped with ‘Johgus Bornholm’.

Approximately 19cm high and 8cm wide.

In excellent vintage condition with no chips and only very minor signs of age.
