Vintage Holmegaard Danish Hooped Clear Glass Table Lamp

Large and heavy with a real high quality feel - a very beautiful, stylish and rare lamp.

Most of the table lamps produced by Holmegaard/Royal Copenhagen in this period were of white opal glass, this clear glass design is much rarer and the Windsor model is also rare.

The design is called 'Windsor' and features a hooped, very mid century design, with satin steel detailing.

Designed by Michael Bang for Holmegaard in 1980 in collaboration with Royal Copenhagen.

Handmade by Holmegaard at its glassworks on the Danish island of Fyn between 1980 and 1984.

Approximately 31cm high, including the original lamp holder, 13cm wide at its base and weighs 2kg.

Excellent fully working vintage condition with original sticker. Has minor signs of age, mainly some scratches to the base.

It is in full working condition.

We can fit a British/Irish, European, Aus/NZ or American/Canadian* plug.

It takes a E27 lightbulb, maximum 60w (not included).

*If used in the USA/100/110/120v we recommend using an energy saving/LED bulb. E26 bulbs should work but because they are 1mm smaller they need to be fully turned to ensure they make contact with the fitting.
