Vintage Holmegaard Danish Glass Ice Bucket in Akva Blue

Optically ribbed handmade glass with a stylish wicker handle.

Originally designed by Jacob Bang in the 1930s and reissued by Per Lutken in the 1950s as part of his Akva series of ice blue glass.

Made in Denmark by Holmegaard, probably in the 1950s/60s. Has Holmegaard etched to its base.

A great gift for a cocktail lover or for anyone who loves Mid Century glamour and elegance, simplicity & minimalism of Scandinavian design.

The glass part of the ice bucket is 16cm high or 27cm high with its handle raised. It is 14cm wide at the top.

It is in excellent vintage condition with no chips or cracks and only very minor signs of age.
