Vintage Holmegaard Danish Kluk Glass Decanter

Beautiful teal blue glass decanter - a wonderful gift for any whisky or brandy lover!

Known as the Kluk Kluk decanter (Glug Glug in English) because of the sound the liquid makes as it is poured out.

A Kluk Kluk decanter like this features in Star Trek because of its stunning shape.

Handmade by Holmegaard in Denmark, probably in the 1950s/60s. 

Retains its original Holmegaard sticker which says 'By appoint to the King of Denmark' which dates this item to 1971 at the latest.

Approximately 24cm high, including the stopper, and 9cm wide.

Excellent vintage condition with only minor signs of age and no chips, the stopper has a sliver missing, probably from manufacturing as it is smooth.
