Rewire and refurbishment of two vintage teak/glass wall lamps

Work undertaken as follows:

• Initial disassembly and inspection found both lamps required rewiring due to non-compliance with current electrical safety standards. One was noted to have been unsatisfactorily altered.
• One of the switches was functional, the other was fixed.
• Customer opted for rewiring with burnt orange braided fabric cable - one with 1.5m and one with 3.5m.
• Existing plastic isolators (saftety enhancement) were crumbling so were replaced.
• New UK plugs fitted.
