    Rewire of vintage ceramic table lamp
     I would like to match the fitting with the ring which is still attached to the lamp - maybe the aged brass would be the closest. And definitely a blue cable - I quite like the navy, but would be happy with the brighter blue. I will go with your judgement. 
    I can rewire your lamp with a traditional metal British B22 fitting (what it would have had originally) in your choice of finish (see here: https://scandiwegians.com/pages/a-note-on-lampshades), your choice of braided fabric cable and a new plug for £50 plus return postage.

    Black, dark brown and navy blue cable are included in the price, or you can have any other available colour (https://www.lampspares.co.uk/braided-flex-cables/?CableStyle=Twisted&CableCores=3__Core) at a cost of £4 pm (2 or 3 metres required). You might for instance like bright blue to bring out the colour in your lamp.
