    Rewire of Metal Desk Lamp

    I'd like a rewire, with black switch, plug and braided cord. Not sure what cord length you normally do, but I'd like it on the long side as not sure where the nearest plug is (it's going into a new flat).

     

    Your lamp requires earthing as it is metal, and I will need to feed earthed cable up through one of those curved arms so it will be a tricky job.

    I use special ultra thin earthed cable internally, so hopefully I should be able to do this.

    I estimate it will cost £80-£90 to include all parts, new braided fabric cable in black, brown or navy (any other colour available at an additional cost of £4 p/m), a new switch and plug.

    We usually rewire lamps with c1.8m of cable from where it exits the lamp to the plug. Let us know if you would like more.
