Refurbishment of White Anglepoise Lamp

Work carried out as follows:

• Lamp taken apart and all parts cleaned up Removing most of the paint spatters and rust removed from springs etc.
• Arm mechanism re-worked and greased so it now functions much better.
• I attempted to re-use the existing lampholder but it was too corroded from rust and couldn’t get one of the screws out.
• Lampholder replaced with new - please note that the most suitable replacement was an E27 fitting meaning the lamp now takes E27 lightbulbs.
• Lamp rewired with black fabric cable and a new black plug.
• You asked about bulbs and I will include a suitable one. One with a bit of weight to it seems a good fit.
