Rewire of yellow ceramic table lamp with wood base

Problem: lampholder incomplete, wants to retain aged brass look

Work carried out as follows:

Lamp rewired utilising existing parts.

Missing parts of lamp holder added from parts in stock with patina, including switch and lampshade ring.

Lamp partly dismantled to feed more cable through to rewire lamp holder. 

New isolater fitted in bottom of lamp, a safety enhancement to protect from cable damage against sharp metal parts.

New felt added at base to cover where the original felt was broken to access the lamp.

Existing plug checked and rewired.
