Brodrene Mylius Norwegian Pewter Coffee Jug Retro 1950s

A stylish deco style jug with a wicker handle.

Made in Norway by Brodrene Mylius, probably in the 1950s.

Made of pewter with a Bakelite knob on the lid and rattan handle.

Has its manufacturer’s logo imprinted on its base.

It is approximately 21cm high and 22cm wide.

It holds approximately 2 pints or 1 litre.

In fair vintage condition, it has no dents but plenty of scratches and coffee staining to the inside. The rattan handle is in very good condition.
