Asmussen 1 Drop Danish Gold Plated Candle Stick Holder 1970s Hamlet

Iconic gold plated vintage Danish candle stick - Price is for 1 but 2 are available 

Weighty Danish made candle stick of the highest quality.

The design is called 'Drop' and this is the one drop version.

Designed by Hugo Asmussen in 1975.

This is a beautiful, timeless, elegant design that is much-loved in Denmark, but perhaps the thing I love most about it is the gorgeous embossed lettering on its base.

Made of 24 carat gold plated metal, probably brass.

Made in Denmark - one in 1986 and one in 1988 (year is shown on base).

Makers details, '24 carat gold plating' and 'Made in Denmark' embossed beautifully on its base.

Approximately 8cm high, 6.5cm wide at the base and 3cm wide at the top.

Excellent vintage condition with only very minor signs of age.

Designed to take a dinner candle (not included).

The last two photos show the three we currently have in stock L-R older, 1986, 1988.
