Back At Brentford After a Trio of Boomerang Lamps

Back At Brentford After a Trio of Boomerang Lamps

Last week I started working back at Brentford Football Club at the very time another Danish man left it for Tottenham Hotspur. There was no press gathered for my arrival though!

I quite like Brentford. It's a compact little ground so quite manageable and pleasant to navigate and work in, unlike some of the behemoths, like say Tottenham. Everyone there is quite chill and friendly. The journey there from my home in Reigate isn't too bad - ok it involves the M25 so there's the potential for it to be an absolute nightmare, but not as much M25 as most of the other London sports grounds. And there's a few decent lunch options, I'm particularly fond of the coffee shop at Kew Bridge Tube Station

To be honest, I really don't know what attracted Thomas Frank to leave Brentford for Tottenham, he must have very different priorities to me when it comes to work!

I've been busy over the last few months working in my lamp repair shop where I worked on my first ever Boomerang Lamp by Spanish company Fase. It was extremely tricky but I persevered, eventually got a result and was very pleased to send it off back to its happy owner. And then, while the nightmare was still fresh in my mind, a regular customer brought me another two Boomerang lamps to repair!

But at least I now know what to expect and which products to use plus I can quote accordingly now I know quite how fiddly and time consuming these lamps are to rewire. They are beauties though, and very solidly made. So I'm pleased with the results I achieved, even though I probably wouldn't have anything nice to say about them when I'm in the middle of the repair!

In between repairing lamps I've been continuing to work on my house. We finally have a fully decorated living room, after living in a semi building site for years, so I've quite enjoyed putting up the finishing touches like artwork.

I've got another week or so of work at Brentford and then I'm back to Denmark for a couple of weeks relaxation which I'm very much looking forward to. My parents live in a lovely little seaside town, with a pretty fishing harbour, so summer is a particularly great time to be there.
