Vintage Dansk ‘Crown’ Danish Candle Holder

Stylish Mid Century design, in its original box.

Would make a beautiful table centrepiece.

Designed by Jens Harald Quistgaard for Dansk in the 1950s/60s.

Takes six ‘tiny taper’ candles, approximately 0.7cm wide (not included). Some people use birthday candles instead.

Originally this design was made of silver-plated nickel in Denmark. This is one of the later models, probably from the 1990s, when production moved to China and switched to all-nickel.

Nickel has the advantage of not tarnishing like silver, so it retains its brightness.

Approximately 8cm high and 10cm wide.

Excellent vintage condition with only very minor signs of age.
