Soholm Pottery Danish Ceramic Table Lamp 1960s/70s

Small handmade table lamp in a very rare Soholm colour way

Features an unusual glossy mottled yellow/cream glaze with slight purple highlights and a geometric textured relief design.

Has an unusual urn-like shape with tiny ‘handles’ on the side.

Model number 1027, designed by Einar Johansen.

Handmade in Denmark by Soholm Stentoj (Pottery) on the Baltic island of Bornholm in the 1960s/70s.

Has manufacturer's details and designer’s mark etched on its base.

It will be rewired with vintage look braided cable

24cm high including the lampholder and 12cm wide at its widest part.

Excellent vintage condition with only very minor signs of age.

Because it hasn’t been rewired yet, you have the opportunity to choose the colour of vintage style braided cable you would like it to be rewired with from a choice of black, dark brown, dark blue, light blue, burnt orange and old gold.

It will be rewired with vintage style braided fabric cable and a new switch, retaining its original lamp holder.

We can fit a British/Irish, European*, Aus/NZ plug or American** plug.

It takes a E27 lightbulb, maximum 60w (not included). In the photos is a vintage style LED Filament G95 'Radio Spiral' lightbulb (not included).

** If used in the USA/100/110/120v we recommend using an energy saving/LED bulb. E26 bulbs should work but because they are 1mm smaller they should be fully turned to ensure they make contact with the fitting. This lamp will take a European type/size lampshade with a ring of 1.5 inches (3.6cm) or alternatively a lampshade that sits on the light bulb. Full details of lampshades can be found under FAQs.
