Soholm Pottery Danish Ceramic Table Lamp

Small lamp with a beautiful glaze, handmade in Denmark in the 1960s/70s

Features a glossy dark blue glaze with iridescent light blue highlights.

Has an attractive lightly textured relief design on the lower half.

Model number 1015, designed by Einar Johansen.

Handmade in Denmark by Soholm on the Baltic island of Bornholm in the 1960s/70s.

Has designer’s mark, manufacturer's details and model number etched on its base.

23cm high including the original Bakelite lamp holder and 13cm wide at its widest part.

Excellent fully working vintage condition.

Because it hasn’t been rewired yet, you have the opportunity to choose the colour of vintage style braided cable you would like it to be rewired with from a choice of black, dark brown, dark blue, light blue, burnt orange and old gold.

Will be rewired with vintage style braided fabric cable and a new switch, retaining its original lamp holder if practicable.

We can fit a British/Irish, European*, Aus/NZ plug or American** plug.

It takes a E27 lightbulb, maximum 60w (not included). In the photos is a vintage style LED Filament G95 'Radio Spiral' lightbulb (not included).

** If used in the USA/100/110/120v we recommend using an energy saving/LED bulb. E26 bulbs should work but because they are 1mm smaller they should be fully turned to ensure they make contact with the fitting. This lamp will take a European type/size lampshade with a ring of 1.5 inches (3.6cm) or alternatively a lampshade that sits on the light bulb. Full details of lampshades can be found under FAQs.
