Vintage Holmegaard blue glass Carafe / Decanter Bottle

Glass bottle with a pouring spout and a round relief crest.

Beautiful light greenish blue colour, officially called ‘Sea Green’

Designed by Ole Winther for Holmegaard in 1955

In 1962 Holmegaard was commissioned to make bottles for Cherry Elsinore, a fortified wine.

These cherry liqueur bottles had a crest on the front with ‘CE’.

Made in Denmark in the 1960s/70s.

23cm high and around 12cm wide at the base.

Excellent vintage condition with no chips and only minor signs of age.

The last photo shows it with another item, available for separate purchase.
