Dansk Designs Iron Atom Spider Candle Holder Quistgaard Danish Modern Brutalist

Dansk Designs iron candle holder known as the Atom or Spider.

Designed by Danish designer Jens Harald Quistgaard (JHQ) for Dansk Designs in the 1950s/60s.

The base is inscribed with ‘Dansk Designs Denmark JHQ’ indicating that it was designed by Quistgaard and made in Denmark.

These candle holders make an attractive table centrepiece.

It is 10.5cm wide with twelve arms.

It is in very good vintage condition. It may have very small spots of rust and bits of wax from previous usage.

Takes ‘tiny taper’ candles, approximately 7mm or 8mm wide.
