    Rewire of two French Desk Lamps

    The toggle switch works on the grey one but not on the green one but I wouldn't want it replaced, I'm happy to turn it off at the mains. 

    Customer Requests:

    2m Cable - black for black lamp, preferably grey for the grey lamp

    Black UK plugs

     

     

    Noted with the toggle switch, he’ll keep the old one as cosmetic only, I think there may be the option to add an inline switch on the cable if you’d like.

    I think the lamps will need earthing and therefore probably new lampholders. They seem to have old French bayonets so I may need to use an adapter for compatibility with modern lampholders.

    My other issue is the lovely old toggle switches, hopefully they still work as it can be hard to find suitable parts.

    As this is a new lamp to me, I won’t know the work involved for certain until I have them in my workshop but I estimate £80 per lamp including parts, plus return postage.
