Soholm Pottery Danish Blue Ceramic Table Lamp

Medium sized table lamp, handmade in Denmark in the 1960s/70s.

Features a beautiful glossy intense dark blue glaze with lighter blue highlights and a textured relief design.

The neck has an espresso brown satin glaze.

Handmade in Denmark by Soholm on the Baltic island of Bornholm in the 1960s/70s.

Has manufacturer's details and model number etched on its base.

23cm high including the lamp holder and 13cm wide at its widest point.

Excellent vintage condition with only minor signs of age.

As this lamp hasn’t been rewired yet, you have the opportunity to choose the colour of vintage style braided cable you would like it to be rewired with from a choice of black, dark brown, dark blue, light blue, burnt orange and old gold.

Dark blue, light blue and old gold cable will all look particularly good with this lamp.

Will be rewired with high quality Italian vintage style braided fabric cable and a new switch. We will attempt to reuse the original lamp holder where practicable, but may replace it with a modern E27 fitting. If you buy two lamps we will ensure they have matching fittings.

We can fit a British/Irish, European, Aus/NZ or American* plug.

* If used in the USA/100/110/120v we recommend using an energy saving/LED bulb. E26 bulbs should work but because they are 1mm smaller they should be fully turned to ensure they make contact with the fitting. This lamp will take a European type/size lampshade with a ring of 1.5 inches (3.6cm) or alternatively a lampshade that sits on the light bulb.
