Cathrine Holm Blue and White Enamel Kettle
Part of the iconic 'Lotus' range of 1960s Norwegian kitchenware.
Beautiful mid blue and white coloured enamel.
The pot shape was designed by Norwegian enamelist Grete Prytz Kittelsen.
Although the Lotus design is often also credited to Kittelsen, it is now thought that the Lotus pattern may have been designed by Arne Clausen.
Made in the 1960s in the Cathrine Holm factory in Southern Norway, which closed in 1971.
Approximately 19cm high with the handle raised and 22cm wide from spout to handle.
Very good vintage condition. The exterior is in excellent condition but the inside has some areas of rust, as shown in the photos, mainly the inside the lid.

Note that we have attempted to show and state the condition as accurately as possible but this is a pre-loved, vintage item and some minor signs of age and/or use are to be expected.
There may also be slight variations in the colours shown due to lighting, the camera lens and the device the image is viewed through.
