Asmussen 2 Drop Danish Gold Plated Candle Stick Holder 1970s Hamlet

Iconic gold plated vintage Danish candle stick - Price is for 1 but 2 are available 

Weighty Danish made candle stick of the highest quality in particularly good condition.

The design is called 'Drop' and this is the two drop version.

Designed by Hugo Asmussen in 1975 these particular pieces date from the 1980s.

This is a beautiful, elegant design that is much-loved in Denmark, but perhaps the thing I love about it is the gorgeous embossed lettering on its base.

Made of 24 carat gold plated metal, probably brass.

Makers details, '24 carat gold plating' and 'Made in Denmark' embossed beautifully on its base.

Approximately 12cm high, 7cm wide at the base and 3cm wide at the top.

Excellent vintage condition. These are in particularly good condition with only very minor signs of age, mainly some loss of the black coating inside the top cavity where the candle sits.

Some photos show it with another candle holder and candles which are not included.

Note that gold should only be cleaned using mild soap and warm water.
