Vintage Red Danish Bartholdy Pottery Table Lamp.

Tall and elegant ceramic lamp in a stylish and rare design.

Has a smooth, glossy bright tomato red glaze which has lightly mottled highlights.

Features an abrstract design on the front and back in black and shimmering light blue.

Made in Denmark by Bartholdy, probably in the 1970s.

Has its manufacturer’s details on its base.

Excellent vintage condition with only very minor signs of age.

Approximately 35cm high, including the lamp holder, and 10cm wide.

The price includes re-wiring with high quality, Italian-made fabric cable and a new plug, replacing old, worn fittings if required. You have the opportunity to choose the cable colour from a choice of black, dark brown, dark blue, light blue, burnt orange and old gold.

It will be rewired with vintage style Italian braided cable, and a new switch, retaining the original Bakelite amp holder if practicable. If you buy more than one lamp we will ensure they are rewired with matching fittings.

We can fit a British/Irish, European*, Australian/NZ or American* plug.

It takes a E27 lightbulb, maximum 60w (not included).

*If used in the USA/100/110/120v we recommend using an energy saving/LED bulb. E26 bulbs should fit but because they are 1mm smaller may need to be fully turned to ensure they make contact with the fitting. This lamp will take a European type/size lampshade with a ring diameter of 1.5 inches (3.6cm) or alternatively a lampshade that sits on the light bulb. See FAQs for full details.
