Soholm Pottery Danish Table Lamp 1960s/70s - Price is for 1 lamp
Tall, absolutely stunning, handmade ceramic Danish lamp.
Has a glossy glaze in warm caramel amber and mid blue.
Features an unusual and very elegant scalloped base with various highlights including shimmering light blue.
Model number 940, designed by Einar Johansen for Soholm Stentoj (Pottery).
Handmade in Denmark on the Baltic island of Bornholm in the 1960s/70s.
Has its manufacturer’s details, designer's mark and model number etched on its base.
33cm high including the original white lamp holder and 11cm wide at the base.
Excellent fully working vintage condition.
Because it hasn’t been rewired yet, you have the opportunity to choose the colour of vintage style braided cable you would like it to be rewired with from a choice of black, dark brown, dark blue, light blue, burnt orange and old gold
_________________________________________________
Will be rewired with vintage style braided fabric cable, retaining the original Bakelite lamp holder if practicable.
We can fit a British/Irish, European*, Aus/NZ plug or American** plug.
It takes a E27 lightbulb, maximum 60w (not included). In the photos is a vintage style LED Filament G95 'Radio Spiral' lightbulb (not included).
** If used in the USA/100/110/120v we recommend using an energy saving/LED bulb. E26 bulbs should work but because they are 1mm smaller they should be fully turned to ensure they make contact with the fitting. This lamp will take a European type/size lampshade with a ring of 1.5 inches (3.6cm) or alternatively a lampshade that sits on the light bulb. Full details of lampshades can be found under FAQs.

Note that we have attempted to show and state the condition as accurately as possible but this is a pre-loved, vintage item and some minor signs of age and/or use are to be expected. But unless otherwise stated there will be no chips or similar damage.
There may also be slight differences in colour depending on the device the product is viewed on.
