Holmegaard Danish Cylindrical Glass Bud Stem Vase 1950s 1960s

Beautiful vase in a vibrant bright glass colour called 'May Green'.

Tall elegant vase, ideal for a single statement flower.

Model number 18121, designed by Per Lütken in 1952 for Danish glass house Holmegaard.

Would make a wonderful present for any lover of Scandinavian and modernist designs.

Handmade in Denmark in the period 1952-74.

Has its manufacturer’s name, model number and designer’s initials etched on to its base.

Measures approximately 22cm high and 7cm wide.

Excellent vintage condition with no chips and only minor signs of age, the most prominant is a horizontal scratch which is highlighted in the photos and only shows upon close inspection when held up to the light.
