Antique Black Leather British Doctor’s Case
Made in London, England by high quality leather goods company JC Vickery, in the period 1890-1936.
Made of black leather with a green silk lining and metal fittings.
Has the manufacturer’s details and ‘[By Appointment to ]Their Majesties The King & Queen’ embossed in gold lettering inside the case.
Opens and closes. Has its key although it is no longer required to open the case, simply press the button to item.
31cm long and 20cm wide. It is 14cm (19cm high excluding (including) the handle.
Very good antique condition with signs of age as shown in the photos.
JC Vickery of Regents Street London made the finest quality goods in from the 1890s until the 1930s and held Royal Warrants for not just the British Royal Household, but for those of several other European monarchies including Denmark and Sweden.
