Vintage Soholm Pottery Petrol Blue Danish Ceramic Table Lamp Einar Johansen 1021
Vintage Danish Pottery Ceramic Table Lamp.
This is part of a new collection of stock. Because it hasn’t been rewired yet, you have the opportunity to choose the colour of vintage style braided cable you would like it to be rewired with from a choice of black, dark brown, dark blue, light blue, burnt orange and old gold.
Large petrol blue (grey blue with a green tinge) handmade pottery table lamp.
Satin petrol blue glaze with geometric textured relief design.
Model 1021 designed by Einar Johansen.
Made by Soholm Pottery on the Baltic island of Bornholm, Denmark in the 1960s/70s.
Has its designer’s mark, manufacturer’s details and model number imprinted on its base.
Excellent vintage fully working condition.
35cm high, including the original lamp holder, and 16cm wide at the base.
It will be rewired with a vintage style braided cable, using the original vintage lamp holder.
We can fit a British/Irish, European, Australian/NZ or American* plug.
It takes a E27 lightbulb, maximum 60w (not included). In the photos is a vintage style LED Filament G95 'Radio Spiral' lightbulb (not included).
* If used in the USA/100/110/120v we recommend using an energy saving/LED bulb. E26 bulbs should work but because they are 1mm smaller they should be fully turned to ensure they make contact with the fitting. This lamp will take a European type/size lampshade with a ring of 1.5 inches (3.6cm) or alternatively a lampshade that sits on the light bulb. See FAQs for full details.
If you would like to buy a lampshade to accompany your lamp we recommend the wonderful handmade lampshades utilising vintage fabrics by Dawn Witty - you can find her designs here: https://www.etsy.com/uk/shop/WittyDawnUK
Note that we have attempted to show and state the condition as accurately as possible but this is a pre-loved, vintage item and some minor signs of age and/or use are to be expected.
There may also be slight variations in the colours shown due to lighting, the camera lens and the device the image is viewed through.
Handmade items may have slight imperfections, such as air bubbles in glass, which add to their uniqueness and charm.
