Vintage Norwegian Perletinn Pewter Candle Holder 1950s

Features an attractive textured pattern resembling medieval armour.

Striking mid century brutalist design.

Made of pewter, a tin alloy which Norway has specialised in for centuries.

Norwegian pewter often used traditional designs used back to Viking times.

Made for a dinner candle measuring approximately 2.5cm (1 inch) wide.

Has manufacturer's details and country of origin stamped inside plus its original sticker on the green felt bases.

Made of pewter in Norway, probably in the 1950s.

Made Perletinn Oslo Metall.

Approximately 9cm high and 9cm wide.

Good vintage condition with some signs of age and use.

The last photo shows it with other Norwegian pewter items, available for separate purchase.

The candle in the photos is by Ester & Erik who hand-make beautiful traditional candles in my home region in Denmark.
