Vintage Hornsea Pottery Muramic Trinket Dish.
Very good vintage condition with minor signs of age/use. 8.5cm wide. Made by Hornsea Pottery in England in the 1970s. Designed by Hornsea's chief designer, John Clappison.
Round ceramic dish with a smooth, unfinished biscuit finish and a wonderful glossy patterned glazed inner base. It is a beautiful piece that is a joy both to look at and to hold. If the design catches your eye then you will most definitely not be disappointed when you have the real thing.
It can be used as a trinket dish to keep keys, jewellery etc. as a candle holder or as a serving dish for olives, tapas etc.
The dishes were made in three sizes and at 8.5cm, 12cm and 15cm. These dishes are all 8.5cm wide, the smallest size.
