Designed by Hornsea's chief designer, John Clappison and made in East Yorkshire, England in the 1970s. 15cm wide.
Very good vintage condition with minor signs of age/use.
These round ceramic dishes have a smooth, unfinished biscuit finish with a wonderful glossy patterned glazed inner base. It is a beautiful piece that is a joy both to look at and to hold. If the design catches your eye then you will most definitely not be disappointed when you have the real thing!
It can be used as a trinket dish to keep keys, jewellery etc. as a candle holder or as a serving dish for olives, tapas etc.
The dishes were made in three sizes - 8cm, 12cm and 15cm. These are both 15cm wide, the largest size.
They are very similar and would make a great matching pair.
