Tue Poulsen Pottery Danish Ceramic Table Lamp.

Cylindrical studio stoneware table lamp made of Chamotte (a type of clay). Features a light latte coloured rustic base with warmer, darker brown textured highlights.

Handmade on the Danish island of Zealand by ceramicist Tue Poulsen in the 1960s/70s. Has “Tue Denmark’ etched in the base. Tue still works from his pottery studio, his Mid Century works have become very collectible.

Very good vintage condition with no chips or similar. 30cm high including the original dark brown Bakelite lampholder. 10cm wide.

Full working condition. It has been rewired with a vintage style black braided fabric cable. It has a British/Irish plug but we can fit a European, Aus/NZ or American plug*.

It takes a E27 lightbulb, maximum 60w (not included). In the photos is a vintage style LED Filament G95 ‘Radio Spiral’ lightbulb (not included).

*If used in the USA/100/110/120v we recommend using an energy saving/LED bulb. E26 bulbs will probably work but because they are 1mm smaller they should be fully turned to ensure they make contact with the fitting. Alternatively, E27 bulbs should available online in North America.
