Vintage Stavanger Pottery Storage Jar with Lid

Rare and beautiful ceramic jar in exceptionally good condition.

Stylish design featuring fish and Nordic food items in bright colours.

Has highlights in a beautiful shade of petrol blue green on a white base.

Was probably originally designed to store herrings.

Made in Stavanger, Norway in the 1960s/70s.

It is approximately 13cm high and 13cm wide.

It is in excellent near mint vintage condition with no chips and only very minor signs of age. This has perhaps only been used as a display piece.
