Soholm Pottery Stentoj Blue Danish Table Lamp 3041 Vintage 1960s Retro Scandinavian Light
Soholm Pottery Danish Blue Ceramic Table Lamp
This is part of a new collection of stock. Because it hasn’t been rewired yet, you have the opportunity to choose the colour of vintage style braided cable you would like it to be rewired with from a choice of black, dark brown, dark blue, light blue, burnt orange and old gold.
Large blue ceramic table lamp, handmade in Denmark in the 1960s/70s
Features a glossy mid blue glaze with mottled, slightly textured, pecan brown highlights with a leaf-like pattern.
Model number 3041. Designed by Einar Johansen.
Handmade in Denmark by Soholm Stentoj (Pottery) on the Baltic island of Bornholm in the 1960s/70s.
Has manufacturer's details, designer’s mark, and model number etched on its base.
It will be rewired with vintage look braided cable
33cm high including the original Bakelite lampholder. 12cm wide at its widest part.
Excellent vintage condition with only very minor signs of age.
Fully working condition.
We can fit a British/Irish, European, Aus/NZ or American* plug. It takes an E27 lightbulb, maximum 60w (not included).
* In the USA/100/110/120v we recommend using LED/energy saving lightbulbs. E26 bulbs should fit but because they are 1mm smaller you will need to turn the bulb fully to ensure it makes contact with the fitting. This lamp will take a European type/size lampshade with an Uno style ring diameter of 1.5 inches (3.6cm) or alternatively a lampshade that sits on the light bulb.
If you would like to buy a lampshade to accompany your lamp we recommend the wonderful handmade lampshades utilising vintage fabrics by Dawn Witty - you can find her designs here: https://www.etsy.com/uk/shop/WittyDawnUK. If you contact her with a picture of the lamp you have bought she will make suggestions on a lampshade to suit it.
Note that we have attempted to show and state the condition as accurately as possible but this is a pre-loved, vintage item and some minor signs of age and/or use are to be expected.
