Soholm Pottery Danish Ceramic 1960s Table Lamp

Medium sized handmade vintage Danish table lamp.

Has a glossy cream glaze with olive green and shimmering bronze highlights.

Features a striped design on the neck.

Designed by Noomi Backhausen. Signed ‘Noomi’.

Handmade in Denmark by Soholm Pottery on the Danish island of Bornholm in the 1960s/70s.

Has manufacturer’s details, artists mark and model number on its base.

It is 31cm high, including the original Bakelite lamp holder, and 10cm wide at its base.

Excellent full working vintage condition with only very minor signs of age.

Noomi Backhausen (1938-2011) was a German ceramic artist who joined Soholm in 1966 and worked there for over 20 years.

The price includes re-wiring with high quality, Italian-made fabric cable and a new plug, replacing old, worn fittings if required. You have the opportunity to choose the cable colour from a choice of black, dark brown, dark blue, light blue, burnt orange and old gold.

It will be rewired with vintage style Italian braided cable, retaining the original lamp holder if practicable (let us know if you would prefer a new E27 lamp holder). If you buy more than one lamp we will ensure they are rewired with matching fittings.
